Transferring demands to MRS

§  When users move planned data for a plan version to MRS, resource needs are also transferred.

§  Plan information is supplied to the MRS system as one demand, per structure element, for resources that are staffed using MRS. Each resource's projected effort is transferred to the corresponding week or month in Resource Planning, and the structure element's document number from MRS is updated.

§  End-to-end integration with MRS ensures that the document number in MRS and the staffed quantity are changed in the plan version when an employee is staffed there.

§ By starting the script /CPD/PFP SET MRS STAFFED QTY, you can import staffing data into SAP Commercial Project Management. This software only retrieves data from MRS for staff members whose status is "Hard book approved."

§  Users can only see the document number and the number of staff members when they open the planning sheet a second time.

§  The following information regarding staffed employees is shown in the planning sheet:

o    the planning sheet shows a second row with the staffed quantity of the new employee and planned quantity as 0, if the employee who was sought was not the one who was staffed. The original policy's row is still visible, but it just includes the planned quantity.

o    an additional row is presented with the corresponding staffed quantities if the requested staffing for an employee has been split across two employees. The anticipated quantity, however, is only visible in the employee's original scheduled row.

o    Staffed quantities are always shown in the time for which employees have been staffed in MRS, whether or not that period corresponds to the period over which staffing was planned.
